The changes are done at least to the flagships units in each class of the 8th gen. Core processors as of the day this thread.
I just went thru Intel's database and these are the highlights:
1- i3's core count descends to four (4) while Turbo Boost is still lacking and Hyper Threading support is removed.
2- i5's high-end units get a core count of six (6) cores with the same lack of Hyper Threading while the lower-end units stay with four (4) cores but acquire Hyper Threading to get eight (8) threads.
3- i7's high-end units get a core count of six (6) cores keeping Hyper Threading support to have twelve (12) threads while the lower-end units stay with four (4) cores with Hyper Threading.
