Bend the metal tabs at the bottom of the card bracket? Shouldn't it just fit without bending

Yh I was thinking they went gonna work lol

Having another look I don't think my io Sheild is lined up correctly or the motherboard isn't I can't get a USB into the top plugs and a did have trouble installing the board into the Sheild looks like a need redo it

Sometime you do as the cases are not alike.

I will have another look at them before I start bending or removing anything

I'm going to have to pull the board out anyway now

Lesson learned for any future build test the ports after motherboard install

Hey AMD_man I have bin hoping to see you around here soon I wanted to thank you for helping me to select these parts and convincing me to go 1600 I'm very pleased with the machine even tho my cards don't fit lol

I build the system on a table to test all the parts on Thursday,
And then fitted the build into the case today.

All seems to have gone perfect apart from the io Sheild and cards not fitting properly


The io Sheild was not as easy as suggested in that video the rest was its like Lego for adults

None of this was my fault it's because it's Friday 13th lol

I have pulled the motherboard and resat it iv fixed the problem with the IO Sheild ,


I have bent the bottom tab of the cards and now they fit snug

So all in all I would say successful build thanks everyone apretiate all the help you gave
