My wife can sit all night at a slot machine playing, not my cup of tea. My idea of gambling is to sit at a nickel poker machine with a $2 roll of nickles and play as long as that $2 lasts.

Betting small amounts is no fun at all. It's like playing a really terrible game, and paying for it.

Maybe not to you but I look at it like this: I'm paying $2 for a couple of hours of entertainment. I have no illusion about hitting a big jackpot. Betting large amounts of money is foolhardy since the Casino has all the odds stacked in their favor and they will eventually get your money, even if you do win some in the short term. It's not about skill or even luck, it's pure statistics.

What I mean is, there are better games out there than that. Why not play a poker game in your computer or something? The only thing fun about the casino is the adrenaline that betting your money produces. It feels like a waste going all the way to the casino to play a game you can play at home or with friends.

I agree with you, I would never go to the casino just to gamble. The main reason I ever go to a casino is to eat in one of their restaurants. There's a casino 10 minutes from my house and the only reason I ever go there is to eat, it's actually the cheapest place my family has found in the area to go for breakfast.

My brother's laptop snapped so suddenly with all kinds of blue screens and warnings and he's got so much work on it. I'm migrating his work to one of my standby computers. Good news is this thing has easy access to the HDD and the RAM and bad news is those two are the upgrade parts. Main parts are deep inside

Man, I do exactly the same. There is a casino in a city nearby that has a killer restaurant. We go there pretty often and sometimes we gamble a few bucks. I guess it's all part of their plan, but we have a good time anyways, so joke's on them [emoji14]
