Buddy, I am an avid gamer, and I prefer gaming laptop more than gaming pc, and I am using ASUS ZX53VW because of its 8GB DDR3 ram. I like its Backlit keys, and its NVidia GeForce GTX 960 4GB helps me playing my favorite games like COD; WW2, Resident Evil 7 or taken seven but for more choices checkout some best gaming laptop under 1000$ which is quite close to your range!
Thanks me later
If you're looking for a gaming laptop, the one piece of advice i can offer is to avoid anything that has a graphics card that has an 'M' in the model number. i.e. nvidia 950m. While they use less power and give a longer battery life, they're mobile variants that are less powerful than their desktop counterparts.
Do you have any preferences? Like screen size, resolution, weight maybe?
Basically what you are looking for is something with a dedicated card (the "desktop" models like the 1060 or 1050Ti), SSD, 8Gb or more RAM, and a 6th or 7th gen I5 or I7 processor.
I would also advise against Dell. I had an XPS M1530 laptop that broke down on me due to the faulty GPU they put in. I'm surprised that the laptop lasted as long as it did (2009-2016) because most of them failed around 2011-2012.
Dell actually extended the warranty on that model because of the GPU issues.
