Hey SG, you can get creative with fishing. Do you tie your own lures?

Lure? Is that the hook and the bait?

Well yeah, I tie them myself. I can't trust having other do it for me unless I know them perfectly in this and they already did it.

I remember as a kid I made my own lures using hooks, colored stick pins and color threads.

Some actually worked. IIRC it was the yellow-green jobs.

What I did off and on yesterday with the color markers. The markers wasn't consistent sometimes but nevertheless, this is a learning process.

My next pic will be done with color ink pens. I'll pick up the coloring pencils later.

Once in a (long) while, I sketch with a 0.5mm mechanical pencil, but I am not an artist by any stretch of the imagination.

Usually I write.

except, I haven't been able to do that so much lately. Maybe this change of environment will get me going again.

Well got the color pencils from Walmart. Since the markers and the pens were only 18 colors these are 72 colors.

Beside being cleaner to color I'd have more color gradients for realistic pics.
