Actually long ago AMD wasn't the underdog. They made CPUs that at a lower clock matched the Pentiums. Like the AMD 233, running at 167 Mhz matched the Pentium 233 running at 233 Mhz.

Remember Cyrix? They ran at 75 Mhz buss while the other CPUs ran at 66 Mgz. Intel had a long way to go but now look what they did.

The AMD graphic chips used to be ATI and they're making good chips. I like the HD 7770 in my i5 and the 6670 in my i3 systems.

I'm not too sure. I mean the RX 5xx series were a bit of a disappointment. Ryzen was too, a bit less, but still a disappointment. If it wasn't because of the low prices AMD would be extint.
