Will we run out of space?

With the intense frequency data is multiplying (e.g. by constant cloud backup in large companies, social media messages,..), is the cloud ever going to reach a limit?
I don't understand how the world can keep handling exabytes of information being backed up/created.

n.b.: the 'cloud' is to be referred to as the collective storage space of all servers in the world.

A few considerations:

Political:
- We don't want to keep polluting the world by using up the earth's resources.

Scientific:
- We will reach a thermodynamic limit for processing units. According to the article, that will be in 30-40 years. What then? We will resort to memcapacitor and meminductor? Other means?

Nope, I just add more NAS drives to the network. :) You can't run out of space for files because new space can be made.
We will however run out of physical space on the planet one day because it can't be made.
