Why did panasonic kxp 1080 printer quit printing

Just tonight my printer quit printing documents. Will not even print a test page. Any ideas why this could be?

Using Windows XP.

Have you tried doing a good cleaning in the maintenance option on your printer?

That has happened to my sister before on her printer, and after doing that it started printing again.

OK I decided to install a driver for a slightly newer Panasonic printer. I believe a KXP 1090. Now the printer prints again.

Panasonic printers are junk. Look into Epson for better paper ink tech, they are a leader and get the industries best results.

I have had this printer since 1987. Still works. Not bad for 29 years.
