Shot an Email to Dave of Viva Tubes asking what's a good tube for my Vox amp and he gave me this link:

Sweet deal so I ordered it.

Got my tube today and I put it in my Vox amp. Damn, what a difference one tube makes.

It is sweeeeeeeeeet.

Hmm... I got two tube experts tell me that it's not a Mullard, it's an RFT made in East Germany. Turned out you can go by the writings on the tube but they IDed it by the guts inside which is unique to RFT.

I told the vendor about it and he said thanks for the info. He went by the writings and I think he's somewhat new to this tube thing.

As to the RFT, it's one of the most desirable brands for audio amps and why not? It sure sounded good in my amp.
