Well even assuming that partition will still work on Win 10 it would put your computer back to Win 7 anyway. I think you need to look at programs like Macrium Reflect etc now. That partition could still be used to contain Windows 10 recovery files but how you would do that I wouldn't know. I would not use any recovery options on a computer that had been put there by a manufacturer. I also think that, if you haven't already done it, then this would be an excellent time to back up your personal files.
