Windows 10, favorites list

When I save a site to favorites, it shows as a new item instead of the site name, and I can't move it to my list. I've tried everything that I can think of.

Are you talking about the favorites list in the browser only? And is this in Edge?

I just opened Edge and added a site to the list using the "Star" icon near the upper right, saved to the list after allowing me to specify a name and folder.

Or are you trying to save elsewhere?
