I forgot my Windows 7 admin password, how to reset?

Hello, I encountered a issue with my Windows 7, HP laptop. I can't remember the login password at all, I also don't know when I set a password, is there any way to reset or remove the login password?

If it was not a BIOS password like Dell, then you can make a bootable usb drive and reset the admin password on there.

Speaking of Dell BIOS passwords: I bought a dell laptop off of ebay that was locked with a BIOS password. I contacted Dell and I was able to have them reset it for me after I showed them proof of purchase.

That's not the bios password, it's screen login password, did you know how to reset that password?

Thanks, I noticed that it needs a USB drive to create a bootable reset disk, how much storage does it need?
