Hi guys I want to connect 2 Ethernet cables together and want to keep my network gigabit ,can you suggest a cheap connector that will work with cat 6 cables ? Thanks guys

You might just want to do a bit of research on the losses associated with ethernet connectors and couplers. I cannot remember what the figures are now and they are, possibly, not significant on a gigabit network. Even worth looking up IMO.
In that case the coupler is definitely the better option. It might technically decrease performance slightly compared to a longer cable but probably very negligible.
If you want a switch then here is cheap gigabit D-Link 5 Port Gigabit Easy Desktop Switch GO-SW-5G/B. This way you have more ports to play with and you can get rid of the router and replace with just a switch.
