Eell 193FP Minitor now working properly Windows 7

Usually monitors don't require specific drivers as the ones that Windows has already included will work. Then the GPU drivers will help set a suitable resolution. Have you tried using a dedicated GPU and different cables? The monitor should also have an auto function where you press that button and it will automatically adjust to the right resolution.

The auto function on the monitor doesn't fix the resolution, it's stuck on 848x480 with no other options. The positioning button on the monitor does nothing to better the screen position.

What do you mean by Dedicated GPU? You mean, another driver for another monitor?

As for the cables, how would this help?

A dedicated GPU is a graphics card that plugs into a pci-e slot and it's only job is to send images to the monitor rather than use the chipset that is in the CPU to drive the monitor.

Well, the Mystery is over. It seems that the onboard intel graphics card doesn't handle the second monitor so well so I did as you suggested and raced out and bought a dual graphics card. It works great.

Even better, now I don't have to frisby this monitor off the roof :whistling:

Thanks for the help.
