Personally I think you will have to upgrade your MB and RAM and processor.
Can I upgrade my computer's CPU from an i3 to an i5 processor?
You will have to go to the Gigabyte and see whether your current board can can take an i5. I am not a gamer but IMO the faff you will have to go through to upgrade what you have is not worth it. Your PSU will have to be bigger and you will need a far better GPU. BikerEcho is right about the fact that the inbuilt GPU is better than what you have but if your going to be gaming I don't think any on board graphics chip is going to keep up with modern games. I think that with a budget of £700 you would be better off going to a specialist games computer such as these The Best Custom Gaming PCs Built in the UK - Chillblast (there are others) and seeing what they can come up with.

Let me go over what looks like a few mistakes in this thread and make suggestions:
This motherboard is absolutely fine and will take anything from a low-end Pentium to a high-end i7. No need at all to upgrade it.
The i3 will suffice for most (if not all) gaming. If it becomes a problem, upgrade to an i5 later, but leave it alone for now.
The RAM is DDR4 so if you upgrade this, you're looking for a pair of DDR4 modules, probably 2x4GB if not 1x8GB.
You'll want to look at upgrading the graphics card, the Nvidia GeForce GTX970 is great, especially if you want to poke your nose into 4K resolution gaming, if not then a Nvidia GeForce GTX960 will probably suffice for 1080p at the moment. This may also mean you have to upgrade your power supply....
In terms of power supplies, you can't go too far wrong with a SeaSonic or Corsair. Anything upwards of about 500W should be fine.
As far as getting an SSD goes... I'd go with Biker's recommendation of the Samsung EVO 850 series. Pick the size based on budget, but I think the 250GB is fine for most people.

There are no mistakes only opinions which is what the OP asked for. In my opinion it is a huge faff to go around sourcing parts when he has £700 to play with.
