Hi

I have a 3.5 years old PC. Now I want to upgrade this PC. The configurations of this PC is
Processor i3
RAM - 4GB
Motherboard - Gigabyte
Power supply - 450w.
GPU - GT 610 1 gb.

can anyone suggest me an upgrade for this PC?

I doubt, apart from more RAM which will cost at least £40 for a decent amount and an SSD which is also quite expensive, you will be able to upgrade it. I am saying that without all the information required as BikerEcho has said. So motherboard model number would be useful and what CPU it has in it at the moment.

Hi

This is the Exact Configurations.

Processor - Core i3 6320
Gigabyte GA-H110M-ARAM - 4GB
Power supply - 450w.
GPU - GT 610 1 gb.
RAM - 4GB ddR2

Much helpful. It's actually not a bad system.

CPU:
You have the latest generation of I3 processors. That's nice.
If you aren't doing any heavy CPU tasks like rendering and decompressing, that CPU is gonna do just fine.

GPU:
Your GPU downright sucks, but if you aren't gaming it doesn't matter.
I would actually pull that card out and use onboard graphics on the CPU.
According to what version of the motherboard you have, it ether have an HDMI port or a DVI+VGA port.
Use that instead and save a little power draw.

RAM:
4gig of RAM is a little on the lower side, but if it's only for office work it's fine.
Otherwise a 2x4 gig kit upgrade might be something to consider. (ohh, and it's ddr3, not ddr2)

PSU:
The power supply might need an upgrade if you change you put in a gaming graphic card.

motherboard:
On the cheaper side, but it works. No worries.

You havne't stated what storage device you are using.
And what are you using your PC for? Why do you feel the need to upgrade?

Hi
I have upgraded my Processor 4 months ago. But now I want to upgrade this processor into i5 as I want to use this PC for gaming.
I am using 500 GB of Hard Drive from western digital.
My budget for upgradation is £700.

In that case i'll focus more on the GPU.
The gt610 is pretty much useless when it comes to gaming.
I mean, the inbuilt GPU in the CPU is better. So you would actually gain graphic performance by taking it out.
