Windows 8 Support

Hey guys. Just a friendly reminder that Microsoft has ended all support for Windows 8 including security updates and patches. So you have to either update to Windows 8.1 or Windows 10 continue receiving updates and support.

I don't know anyone who is still on 8. If you are thats a mistake. 8.1 introduced SO many great features and improved so much.

Im still on win8 because my computer cant handle installing windows 10

Windows 8.1 is still Windows 8, but the latest update really. If you have a Windows icon down the bottom left of your taskbar, you already have it!

Windows 10 is basically Windows 8 & 8.1 but redesigned with a new theme so it should be able to handle Windows 10.

hmm ive heard its more like win7.

It's more like Windows 8 to be honest. The interface has changed back to a start menu, but the start menu itself is just a small version of what used to be a full screen menu in Windows 8.

Im still on windows 7. Ive considered 10 upgrade, but i keep reading about technical issues with 10. Ive heard lots of good things about 10s features, but nothing i would personally use. Ill probably stick with 7 for another year than look back into 10.

I've only experienced a few minor bugs with windows 10, and I felt that the latest version (November update) resolved those for me. I'm still not so keen on all of the data mining and the entire existence of the app store, but that's okay.

Yeah same for me. I've never had to use that update tool from Microsoft to stop any update.
