2016 keeps getting better so far. We put a deposit on a new home today. The builder should complete it by the end of May or so. We've been renting a place since July 2015 while we had our home renovated and then put it on the market to sell.

Haven't been here in nearly a year (8 months I believe) and I stop by and see that there are no new active members, but that the same old members are still active.

More good news for me in 2016. I was laid off from my job yesterday!

I know I should be upset about it but I'm not. I was planning to retire in a few months anyway. Being laid off is better since I will receive 3 months of salary plus 6 months of unemployment insurance payments. If I would have voluntarily retired, I wouldn't have gotten a dime.
