Decided to go wireless with Logitech keyboard and mouse and only have to use one receiver for both which is great. The keyboard is the K270 and mouse is the M505 which came with a laptop my Mum won off an auction but it never had the receiver. I am glad I kept it as I was going to buy a new one but now I don't need to and plus my desk looks cleaner without the cords.

I don't understand why people go for wireless mice/keyboard instead of Bluetooth. Bluetooth has far more functionality and is built-in to many laptops. I have BT mice, keyboards, GPS receiver, headsets, speakers, auto diagnostic dongle, etc...

I believe wireless has more range than Bluetooth which is better for desktops. Desktops are typically far from the user unlike laptops.
