Sharp Actius MM10 Replacement Hard Drive

I have one of these super thin laptops and for the fun of it, I would like to bring it back to life again! The only problem with it is it seems the hard drive is beginning to go, it makes clicking sounds and the like when I boot it, and sometimes it boots, sometimes it doesn't.

My question is, is there a way to replace the hard drive in this unit, because I know it is a special one, maybe to some sort of flash memory or the like? Thanks a lot!

Does it have a plate with screws on top of the drive?

If you retorque the screws (you'll need a torque screwdriver and the spec) it'll probably come back to lfe.

That thing came out in 2003. It's 12 years old.
