Which mode to setup zyxel wap3205 WifI Range extender?
link not the manuel but instructions,
http://scottwesterman.com/?p=2340
w/in this link I DLed the manuel.
My new RE has three modes
AP,universal repeater and client.
I can't connect a ethernet cable to the router then to the RE, I can connect a ethernet cable from RE then to PC.
?1.So what would be the best mode?
Edit :I've treyed two other RE netgear and Tplink both where the type that plugs into the 120V AC wall socket either one worked good however they where very easy to setup w/ there own wizard, all I had to do was plug in wall connect ethernet cable to PC, connect to RE then use there wizard to search for available networks click on mine done,
The zyxel wap3205 does'nt have a wizard there's a bunch of configuration involved, I have been studying the steps just cant figure out which mode?
?2.Don't forget to restore your laptop back to it's original LAN settings.
how is this done?
Thanks STB
