gaming laptop

I am thinking about getting a computer or laptop for gaming under £1,000
what would be best for this?

Definitely a desktop. Laptops bang for the bug are nothing near what a desktop offers.
1000£ are plenty to get a nice gaming rig.

I agree, I'd only get a gaming laptop if you wanted portability. Now types of games do you play?
