Attention friends

I pay ~$40 USD a month for my 10mbps internet-only connection :(

But seriously, I though customer services where I live were bad!
 
Finally my bill is $145 which is much better. As a result I got a new modem and my phone went from statewide to national. Since my old bill was $131 the increase was only $14 instead of that $24+$40 and more increases.

Damn them lying clerks. :mad:
 
Wow! We cannot call nation wide at all without our cell phones. (Or VOIP devices if you are cynthia or myself...), so yeah.

Again, just glad you will still be here. :)
 
That's a good idea but they'll sock me with installation fees.

Haha, no they won't.

Tell them you'll switch if installation is free. The call is recorded so if they bill you anyway and refuse to refund, use the FCC site to file a complaint. They'll have it investigated and refunded with an apology letter in about 8 weeks. I've done it twice now.
