could it be that my board is called for ram pc2-5300 ddr2 667 hrtz and i am using pc2-6400u 800hrtz that may be causing the problem?

Shouldn't be a problem really... the board should be able to accept that.

I'm thinking it's the drive data cable or the slot is faulty. Try another cable and/or another slot.

I ran into anither problem.. My keybord does not get power after post.. Key board works fine to get into the bios, it works. To navigate in bios but when it time to boot at the screen that give me option to boot windows normally or repair keyboard is ded can't choose even if i wan to press any key to boot from cd nothing i hsve usb legacy enabled.. I am using award bios

I was wondering if it had to do something with a bios setting. Likey neighbor computer in the bios in the setting i saw something about the keyboard work in bios only setting. So i wonder if it the same case with mine but i dont see that option
