If I were to have an i5-3570k and an ASUS R9 290 OC 4Gb what power supply should I use? (Whats the lowest wattage I should be able to go at) as I'm not good at figuring out the min and max wattage.

That PSU is made by Great Wall which is not very good. Get a Seasonic made or a Super Flower made.

Yeah, Corsair uses a few makers for their line and this one has the maker with poor reviews.

Sigh, another poor choice. This one is made by Chicony Power and also questionable as to their components, especially their caps.

Get a Seasonic and be done with. They use Japanese caps which are high quality.

here's the Corsair models that's made by Seasonic:

400CX
450VX
650TX
650XV2
750TXV2
850TXV2
450HX
520HX
620HX
650HX
HX650
650AX
750AX
AX760
850AX
AX860

I simply don't agree in your opinion. It's definitely not a poor choice.
That PSU have gotten good reviews and it come at a fair price, Why does it HAVE to be Seasonic.
Seasonic is a fantastic brand, no doubt about it, but they are not the only company in the world who knows how to make PSU's.
