Well i dont own a dvd player cause my console would play them. But when i connect the gaming console i hear it starting up, there is not picture of it. And when i press the volumen or channels buttons nothing shows that the volume is going up. There is also menu buttons but same thing nothing shows.
And the console is connected thru the RCA, the HDMI didnt work, and i dont have the other cables to check it if it works.
Oh and about the back light. Not sure how to explain it but when i turn on the tv you see the tv turn on but is just black screen, is that the back light working?
