I put an ISO of Mint 17 with Cinnamon v2 on a usb (First a Sony 16GB, then a Wintec 8GB) but no matter what i do, on startup, immediately after it asks me what i want to run, i get the initramfs promt. I've tried all the fixes people say should work, but nothing has been posted specifically about Mint 17 yet. All the fixes for 16 do nothing. is there any way to remedy this problem, or am i better off getting an image of a different OS?

That's the software I used. Ran it through again and it came up with a bunch of broken files that it didn't see the first time
