W7 and Drivers...

OMFG I FEEL LIKE A TOTAL IDIOT!

I DONT ACTUALYY BELIEVE i HAVE DONE THIS!!!!


Iv only gone and spent the day looking for this unknown device and its driver and other drivers....

only to go and cheack for updates in windows update, and ofcourse (Why the heck did I not do this first!) I have a my live book update that needs doing and a Reatec network update!!!

ARE YOU **** KIDDING ME!!

I bet you this sorts out my driver issues along with the otther 150+ updates that I have to do and the ones that will come after that!

let that be a lesson folk, alway, aways without fail do the updates before the drivers, exept maby the GPU

thats like one of the most inportant thing I learnt when refurbishing desktops lol...im such a dunce! Ill go sit in a corner now lol!

It worked! All drivers sorted, apart from the WLAN!

I just about give up, except I need this one to work! GRR!

RLT8188S is the units name, its actualy a maplin one, I only found that threw device manager, anyone got any ideas, Im stuck!

MAPLIN N64HH is the Serial/Product ID

^^ No dice, said OS no supported, have all the correct drivers no apart from wirless anyway, but I am going to try something different anyways!

Ill let you know if it works.
