Well I don't use it much anymore as I use to, I use filehippo and haven't got any viruses but nor have got any from downloading from Cnet. If you are unsure of a site that you think may have viruses then run the URL by https://www.virustotal.com/ and see what they have to say, Only one site https://www.virustotal.com/en/url/0...bf56e61f287dabf7087ca29b/analysis/1398944365/ thinks it malicious but just scan it once its done downloading to be sure.
