Is there any way to improve without having to spend a fortune?

improving the system is gonna cost extra... unless you count overclocking.
Is it mainly a gaming system?
If so spend more money on the Graphic card. You don't need more CPU power and the RAM is plenty. everything else is also good enough (if a 64gb SSD is good enough for your needs)
If i may suggest something:
Check out this case. It's 27 dollars more, but it looks fantastic. I am going to buy it my self sometime soon. To me it look way better than your current case

That is a very beautiful case! But I think I'm sticking with the 750D

Looks good it is mainly for gaming but I thought my gpu was quite good?
