Upload the new software you downloaded and see what happens.

I installed the file. I chose to reboot the router and the router never rebooted. The router is connected to the internet as well.

Then I received a web page that meant the internet connection is not there.

Dnce I wrote this reply I purchased another of the same name brand and type router and the only big difference I can see is there are two USB ports instead of one.

This router works perfectly.

That is what I thought. Although this one did not update. There is probable some update but I do not want to do that because this might make this router not work.
