Hey forum friends.
Here it work we have a printserver located in another city.
I don't have remote access to it and it's driving me crazy.
Computers has to be on the domain in order to print.
So we can't print from our Lubuntu computers. Besides we are having problems sometimes where the printers doesn't show up on login. TO fix that i ether have to type in "\\skolefil" as a run command and find the printer to connect to it manually or have the user logout and log back in again.

Is there a way to make a print server within our part of the domain.
I have a computer behind me that is always on and always connected to all printers. Do you guys know a way to make other computers contact that PC and request print?

You should be able to share the printers from that computer, then connect to that computer the same way you connect when you type \\skolefil (using the name of that computer obviously).

I can't share it.
Everything in the "share" "ports" and "advance" tap has been grayed out.
Apparently i don't have access to share them.

I'll contact one of their administrators.
