is it still worth having the 770 if i might upgrade to the r290 as its 4gb graphics also does the fact that the r9280 is 3gb when the 770 is only 2gb is their much diffrence

also i am now considering because of price deals is the intel i5 4670 better for pure gaming than a fx8350 also i will be installing a h80oi cooler into the gaming case

I'd go for the 4570K which means it unlocked and you can overclock. The 4570K is better for gaming and either motherboard board will be fine as long as its LGA1150..

Your performance will be good depending on what you'll be running..

Ok I would lower the RAM to 8GB. I saw a couple of YouTube videos that actually showed (albeit so slight that you wouldn't notice) performance decrease with 16GB.

I'm intrigued as to why this would be?
I'm not saying it doesn't, as I don't know enough but it seems to be illogical.

However I agree with the overall statement 16Gb is overkill 8Gb will be fine.
