Socket confusion

Dell's support for its desktop and it hardware is absolutely crap considering they make their motherboards and is hard to find info on them that is reliable..

Almost all of Dell's LGA 775 boards are BTX. The easiest way to spot a BTX board is the CPU socket being rotated 45 degrees and being closer to the middle of the board. Also, BTX is a mirror image of ATX.

If I'm honest I'd never heard of BTX, but I think I'll avoid Dell from now on if I can, it's just because they were the cheapest on there, I have now noticed that despite me saying I'd never built a mATX, that in actual fact my main computer is an mATX, something I clearly didn't check properly before buying, this is something I would definitely be checking now though!
