I just bought an hp2000 laptop with windows 8 every time I power it on I get a blue screen that says the following

The operating system could not be loaded because the system registry file is missing or contains errors
File:\\windows\system32\config\system
Error code 0xc000014c

I'm not sure what's going on please help ASAP

It sounds like Windows is corrupt, Reinstall Windows 8..

Thanx for the fast reply but when I bought the laptop it never came with windows disc is there another way for me to get it

Contact HP to see if you can obtain disks.

usually bought computers like that have a recovery partition.. do a little research like the model and figure out how to boot into it it's usually just a push of one of the f1-12
