hi guys i have downloaded lightroom 5.3 but am running windows vista and i get an error message saying i need windows 7, is it possible to get an earlier version of lightroom that will run with vista

A quick google search reveals a lot. First, it is officially "unsupported". Second, there's this: start:computer:lightroom5vista [Marcel Dörges Homepage] (I've not done it or even read it - just sharing since it only took me about 2 minutes to find).

Otherwise I would try contacting Adobe support to see what they can do to help.
