Is this really needed ?

Hi guys..
Another small question.. i am planning to play some play station games in my PC..but some of friends saying that you're going to need the graphic card for that..i've heard abt it..but don't know ..is this really necessary ..
and if so what are best available options ?

If it's Playstation 1 and 2, then just download an emulator.

Yah those emulators are good, i love playing the Super Nes one and i just played one for the Nintendo DS. They work great !!
