hello guys. need help here. i recently install prolink H5004N router/modem. it was working fine until i upgraded the firmware. when i access the router page 192.168.1.1, in its new firmware it has the "quick setup" tab. it ask the "connection to internet user and password" in which i have no idea. do i need to set the thing up manually? i forgot to backup its default settings/firmware, stupid of me. anyway any help guys?

Contacting the provider is a good step, though many now provide their own network equipment if they are not already supplying modems that also function like routers. To assist you with your problem though...unless you have internet that runs from a telephone line, select the automatic or dhcp client option.
