Resetting BIOS

Hello, i want to reset my BIOS but my MB needs it updated to use with AM3+ cpu. If i reset it, will i need to update it for it to work again with my AM3+?
When i originally got my build, the MB was updated for AM3+.

The update that was done is a firmware update. This means that those changes were written into 'permanent' memory. If you go into your BIOS and use the "Reset to factory defaults" option, that will not revert the firmware update.
