Sometime next year I will build a gaming pc and I wondered if these parts are a good choice. Note that I would want to overclock a lot.

Looks like a nice build. I couldn't help but notice that you have high performance components, but the storage drive is what WD calls Intellipower. I would go with a desktop hard drive with a spindle speed of 7200RPM to speed up file access.

if i were you go with the rampage 4 extreme black edition, since that one has a easier color scheme to match with. i have the regular extreme edition there and it is so beast. just to let you know when you are putting it together, plug in the v-ram pin connector and the 4-pin at the top before you mount the radiator. it was a headache when i forgot to plug them in. i would suggest to get a consair 800d or something of the same size because this board is extremely huge. with this mobo go with at least 2 way- sli or it would be a waste. also consider going with a hybrid clc like a consair h60 to be mounted on the video card with a aftermarket mount since you are considering overclocking.

Btw, it is not the most overkill for the rampage 4 extreme build. Primordia madusa was pushing $9.5k.

Thanks guys about the case should I go with a Corsair 900D because I know it has plenty of room or a different case entirely.

yea 900d, in the future make it a full custom cooling to add some bling to it lol.

I looked into it and it seems that a 700D would be plenty big, and the 900D is $175 more expensive. I think i'll just go with a 700D
