Outlook Suggestions

I'm using Office 2003 (just...don't ask. We will be upgrading to 2013 soon) and usually when creating an email ,when you start typing who it is To/Cc/Bcc it comes up with suggestions so you can just hit enter. It doesn't really do that any more. It's really starting to annoy me as it comes up with recipient suggestions, but when you attempt to select them it goes straight to 'Not Responding' for a few moments.

I've gone into tools, advanced email options and reset the 'Suggest names while completing To, Cc and Bcc fields' and it makes no difference. I've also tried repairing the entire of Office (had a few problems with excel recently too) but to no avail.

Does any one have any suggestions on how I can fix this?

Thanks :)

You need to delete the .n2k file on your drive that contains the list. You can find it by navigating to:

(The bolded folders are hidden)
[Windows XP]
C:\Documents and Settings\%USERNAME%\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook.

[Windows Vista+]
c:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook\(RoamCache?)

I've gone into App data and located Outlook but there is nothing like the file you mentioned. All that is in there is quite a few archives and several .oab files?
