Well that's what I thought since it has 2 picE slots and can crossfire 2 amd/ati cards why can it not put 2 ninvidia cards in SLI ??

It's the manufacture that decided that they don't want to support it.... for some reason.
it was common in the days before socket AM3 and LGA 1336.
But modern days boards usually supports both SLI and Crossfire. Yours doesn't unfortunately.
