Annoying Password Request

When I try to log into some sites on the upper left side of my screen a pop up that reads; Would you like to remember the password for " My Name " on the "Website Name ". When it pops up it deletes the last digit of my password, then I can't log in.
I have Windows 8
Mozzilla Firefox
I have no add ons that pertain to passwords. Is this a Windows thing?

Iv never heard of that problem before in firefox, but if i was you i would probably open up note pad in windows and copy & paste all your favorites into it, and then un-install firefox & then re-install.

If it still does it i would prefer using a different version of firefox than the one your using.
