GPU Core Clock Performance

Hey everyone, in the near future I am planning on upgrading to two r9 280x's in crossfire, but while I was check out the cards on scan.co.uk, some of the cards had a different core clock (higher or lower) and I was wondering how much of a performance difference a card, for example with a core clock of 850MHz would have compared to a card with a 1000MHz core clock?

Cheers! :D

Depending on the game, if it is about games, it could be nothing up to max 8-10fps, and that's if you were lucky enough. I got this result overclocking my GTX 480 and got artifacts, which you shouldn't, if the overclocking is factory set.

If the price difference is not much, get the higher clock.

The cards with the 1000mhz clock is just pre overclocked. you can overclock the 850mhz version to 1000 as well if you want.
