I got OS X Mavericks (10.9) yesterday and am very dissatisfied. Some of the apps I need everyday no longer work, or freeze my computer to the point I have to force shut down. Being stupid, I didn't back up before I upgraded. I want to switch back, so my idea was to move all of my important files to an external hard drive, wipe my system clean, then move all the files back. Since Lion is the OS that originally came with my computer, I would be able to install that, right? And also would it be possible to install Mountain Lion since that wasn't originally on my machine? If you see any flaws in my plan, let me know. A step by step would be great!
Thank you
