Suitable Motherboards For Two Cases

I personally like the black one - it looks like it has some character. The white one looks really old, straight out of 2002.

Well where can I cut some costs, I am thinking CPU and smaller SSD.

An APU and what you said, I personally shop on ebay, so much cheaper, always purchase items that can be returned incase of any faults.

I also buy second hand goods, not everyone can agree but I must say, great deals.

Lets see, you can do the following:
1- Omit SSD completely. Just make a partition for the system on that 1TB HDD.
2- I see 4GB or 6GB max of RAM is enough for a budget PC.
3- Get an integrated video if you're not planning to play heavy 3D games.
4- I guess 600wat PSU is too much for the chosen low-mid range video card. In case you really want a dedicated video card and the system is for games.

Now that's a budget PC :)

Perfect recommendations :thumb:

I would like to keep the ram and GPU. By removing the SSD and adding a 2TB hard drive I have got the cost to $684AUD. I should get a better motherboard or is the one I have ok?

I think this mobo is fine.

Having no extra preferences, I always say that the cheapest supporting mobo is fine whatever it is. Enough to have it of a good brand and physically supporting the other parts.
