V9 Browser

I am going to help a friend tomorrow that has V9 as their home page on IE, Firefox, and Chrome. They used the control panel to uninstall it but its still there. Just wondering if anyone has run across this and how did you get rid of it?

I did try to uninstall, but could not find it in programs to uninstall. Also tried the add-ons, the uninstall at the bottom of the web page, resetting browsers to default. Still no go. Here is where it gets confusing (at least for me). The other day I ran Malwarebytes (found 32) and AdwCleaner (found stuff as usual). Still had V9. Today I ran Malewarebytes (found 3) and then ran AdwCleaner. The AdwCleaner took care of it. The difference in running it today as to the other day, is that I ran it in administrator mode.

I installed AV the other day. It had an expired AV prior to that.
