new graphics card ran the shut off and wont turn on

Yeah it sounds like it possibly could be the psu. have you disconected the card from the psu an computer an then tried to power on?

Ok so did you build the pc or buy it pre built? can u link it?
 
yes I've tried to remove the card and still nothing. I bought it prebuilt it has:

8 GB DDR3 RAM

I heard the psu was shit from a few other people also. I ordered a corsair cx600 should that work?
Sorry if my questions are dumb I just started getting into pc gaming and this stuff a couple weeks ago
 
I installed the new psu and it powered right uo thank you for all your help everyone!
