Installing windows xp over windows 8 (yeah, I know) HELP

aww damn... well I got the computer to boot into the xp install but im getting a bluescreen a couple minutes into loading the files... it flashes too fast for me to see where it bluescreens.. can someone give me clarification on weather or not xp will have issues with hardware?

The new computer has a SATA controller and XP does not contain SATA drivers. You need to go into the BIOS and turn AHCI mode off.
