software tool information guys???

besides of most commonly known software application out there like: music, video, document writing, photoshop, cartoon, music editing, video editing.
Is there any other software application out there that I don't of??? Do you guys have any idea of a new application software to work with???

What type of software, There is software to clean out all the junk files in your PC, Software to test hardware. There are so many types of software..
